Welcome to my Lifestyle series. This is where I share the simple joys, cozy routines, and little obsessions that make everyday life feel more fun and grounded. These posts are personal, practical, and written from real life, not perfection.

I have discovered something life changing.

There are so many pink houseplants.

And now I have to have all of them.

I don’t make the rules.

For the longest time, houseplants were just “green” to me. Pretty, calming, classic. And then one day I saw a plant with pink leaves and my brain did that thing where it decides, yes. This is it. This is the vibe. This is the era.

Now I’m realizing there’s an entire world of pink indoor plants, and every time I learn about a new one, I feel personally called to collect it.

Why pink plants have me in a chokehold

Pink plants feel like the perfect mix of cozy and bold. They’re still calming like regular greenery, but they also bring this soft, playful pop that makes a space feel styled without trying too hard.

They give:

  • cute and intentional

  • cozy and aesthetic

  • soft but not boring

  • main character energy for your bookshelf

And they make me happy. Like genuinely happy. I’ll catch myself staring at a pink leaf like it’s art. Because honestly… it kind of is.

The pink plant wish list that keeps growing

Here’s the thing. Once you notice pink houseplants, you start seeing them everywhere. And then it becomes a slippery slope.

Now I’m obsessed with the idea of building a whole little collection of pink plants around my home, especially on my desk and shelves. I want that “soft plant corner” look. The kind of corner that makes you want to sit down, drink something warm, and pretend you live in a Pinterest board.

Some of the most popular pink houseplants people collect include:

  • pink princess philodendron

  • pink syngonium

  • nerve plant with pink veins

  • polka dot plant

  • pink aglaonema

  • tradescantia with pink tones

  • caladiums with pink leaves

  • and certain begonias that look like they were literally painted

Even writing that list makes me want to go plant shopping.

A very realistic warning about me and pink plants

Am I a responsible adult who will pace myself and buy one plant at a time.

Maybe.

But also… probably not.

Because once I love something, I love it intensely. And right now, my heart is set on building a house full of pink leaves like a tiny indoor garden that looks soft and magical.

I also love that pink plants can be a little unpredictable. Some are pinker in brighter light.

Some get more vibrant with good care. Some are dramatic. Some are easy. It feels like a fun challenge.

And I’m already in my plant era, so this is just the next level.

My plan

My plan is simple.

Collect slowly.

Learn what each one needs.

Make room for them like little living decor pieces.

Take way too many pictures.

And enjoy the process.

Because plants have become one of my favorite lifestyle joys. They make my home feel alive.

They make my space feel calm. And now they’re going to make it feel pink too.

If you have a favorite pink houseplant, tell me what it is so I can add it to my list and pretend I’m not about to become completely unhinged about this. 🌸🌿
